New Study Outlines Severity of Workplace Violations in the US A joint study by the Center for Urban Economic Development, the National Employment Law Project, and the UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment regarding workplace violations was released in August 2009. The study describes how basic employment rights, such as overtime pay, minimum wage pay, and the right to meal breaks are becoming prevalent in specific industries.
